Vall Labs is a small software company building private communication tools. Our first product is Whisper, an end-to-end encrypted messenger for phones, desktops and the web.

End-to-end encrypted messaging
Messages, calls, photos and files are encrypted on your device before they leave it, using the Signal Protocol. Group chats use the same protocol, so there's one set of cryptography to trust, not two.
Finding friends doesn't mean handing over your address book. Whisper uses private set intersection, so the server only learns which of your contacts are already on Whisper.

We design so that sensitive data never reaches us in readable form. A policy can change. Math doesn't.
We build on well-studied, openly reviewed protocols rather than inventing our own.
When a feature can't be end-to-end encrypted, we label it clearly and keep it separate. No lock icon unless it's earned.
